The Hydrogen Grand Prix is a comprehensive science and engineering program that
gives students from all over the world the opportunity to innovate solutions to real-world problems
as they learn about environmental sustainability, renewable energy and alternative fuels.
What is the Hydrogen Grand Prix
The HHGP is a renewable-energy themed endurance race for high school students. Student teams learn
about fuel cells, renewable energy technology, engineering and automotive design as they prepare for
a 4-6 hour endurance race with their fuel-cell hybrid RC vehicle. The competition culminates in an
international final in Europe where teams from around the world compete to demonstrate the
efficiency of their designs!
